My best memory of my uncle Ronnie is the time he brought me a trail bike out to the Minneota farm. He was very giving and would tease me and my sister when he would come to visit He would always make me laugh. As a kid a enjoyed him much. As a adult, well we moved to Arizona when I was in the seventh grade. So only saw him once in a while. But did talk much on the phone. He loved Jesus and that’s the most important thing in life. I love you, my God father Ron Velde. See you soon at the return!! Laurie Velde

I knew Ron for over 40 years, he had many businesses including Ron's Tree Service, Ron's Chimney Sweep Services, Velde Sewer and Drain Cleaning and his rental houses around town. Ron was good friends with Dave and Elroy Regnier which was the first place I started working. In 1980 I opened Pete's Small Engines and Ron would stop out to visit us every couple weeks to see what was the latest and greatest in mowers and snow blowers. In the last couple years I use to give Ron a hard time because he always wanted the latest in Power Equipment, Cars, Trucks and Skid Loaders and then he would pull out his flip phone and answer a phone call. Ron was a good friend will be missed
