I believe I was a classmate of Richard's in elementary school in Cottonwood. Both our last names started with H and when we exchanged papers and corrected each other's, I had Richard's spelling tests, and perhaps other tests as well. He was a kind person, and I often wondered where he was. I moved in 6th grade and never saw him again. My sympathy to the family.

To Rich's family.....I worked with Rich for many years and truly enjoyed his friendship at the City of Marshall. He was always so helpful and often went above and beyond to insure success with many of our city projects. My sincere condolences and sympathy to the entire family. May he rest in peace.
