Owen Thomas Hess was born on November 8, 1994, in Marshall to Randy and Melissa Hess. He was baptized on January 12, 2020, professing his faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Owen will be remembered by friends and family for his welcoming smile and overflowing heart. His loving Father called him home to give him the peace he struggled to find here on earth. Owen grew up in Marshall, surrounded by friends and family. He loved weight training at the gym, baseball, basketball, wrestling and fishing with his dad and brother. He had a stellar recollection of athletic stats. Owen adored his mother, sisters, Emily and Madilyn, and nephew, Bryce.

Owen passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at his residence in Marshall. He is survived by his parents, Randy and Missy, brother Jordyn, sisters Emily and Madilyn, nephew Bryce, grandmother Avon Hess and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be dearly missed by all.

Owen was truly like a big brother that I never had until I met him. He was a smart, righteous and truly an affectionate individual. He cared for his friends as if they were his family, and cared for his family even more so. Thank you for being a great friend. Rest in piece ODogg, you will never be forgotten!
