Paul, Dan, Jeanne, Tony and family; We are so sad to hear of your Mom's passing. My Dad (Roger) and I have had a couple conversations this past week about memories of her, from attending bible study in Marshall to school events to events at St. Mary's. Such a kindred spirit she always had. May God bless you and your family in your time of grief and remembering such a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and awesome neighbor!

Darlene was such a special & sweet lady and one of my favorite aunts. She was a warm and caring person who loved to laugh and I have many memories of her and my mother sitting together giggling and having a great time. She was an inspiration to us all with her faith in the Lord and I know He has eased her pain and with my Mom has welcomed her home. She was immensely loved and will be greatly missed. Please know we share your pain.

So sad about Darlene going home to the Lord so soon . I am glad we got to meet in person as we shared a day working on our family genealogy at the library and I took her out to the the house once owned by her ancestor(William Moat). Love you and share us to the ancestors in Heaven. Rosemary Nixon

Thank you, Angie. I appreciate your kinds words about mom. I know your mom was a sweet woman too and I hope they are enjoying their time together. :)

Jeanne Rolling Prekker Posted at 01:24am

Rosemary, She loved her genealogy and I know she mentioned you a number of times! I'm glad she had that time with you to work on the family genealogy and visit the house! We joke about how exciting it must be for her to meet all those ancestors she researched over the years! The stories she'll hear! Thank you for thinking of her.
