She grew up on the family farm in Holly Township and attended Country School District 46 and 27. Darlene graduated from Westbrook High School in May 1951, then attended Mankato Business School. To the Family of Darlene Farrell, I wish to send my most sincere sympathy to the family of Darlene, my mother's sister. Growing up we all gathered at the Hofstadter Farm at Christmas and had a wonderful time playing with all the cousins. Darlene was a sweet person who always worked hard, and kept a nice home and garden for her family. May all your memories be happy and she and Dolores now can have coffee together in heaven. Sincerely, Pamela Schmitt Bastien of Garrison, MN
