Armand Francis Dandurand was born May 28, 1936, in Marshall, to Medrick and Cornelia (Kerkvliet) Dandurand. On October 26, 1963, he was united in marriage to Dianna Bouckaert at St. Edward Catholic Church in Minneota. He served in the United States Air Force for four years and also served on the Alta Vista Township Board for several years. Armand was a member of the U.S. American Legion Post 604 of Taunton and the Knights of Columbus Third Degree in Minneota. He enjoyed woodworking and collecting model tractors.

Armand died on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the Sylvan Court Nursing Home in Canby. He is survived by his wife, Dianna, of Minneota; daughter Karen Olson of St. Michael, MN, son Craig (and Danna) Dandurand of Simpsonville, KY; grandchildren Trent and Spencer Olson, Sam, Jolie, Lucas, Julia, and Nicholas Dandurand; sisters Mary Halbur and Margaret Gollmer of Marshall, sisters-in-law Mae Dandurand and Joan (and Tony) Sik. He was preceded in death by his parents Medrick Dandurand and Cornelia Caron, step-father Alfred Caron, brother Melvin, father and mother-in-law Emil and Helen Bouckaert and step-father-in-law Emil Van Acker.

Armand was like a big brother for me as he worked for my father. He was not just a hired hand but was part of the family.
